I have been nationally certified as a "personal trainer" through the American Council on Exercise, since 1992. The core focus of all protocols, which I design, is training people to create a body & consciousness, which will enliven them and allow them to move more freely in their world.

My role in improving my clients’ quality of life is that of an educator, motivator and designer of personalized fitness programs. I stress the long-term health benefits of improving one’s strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness which invariably lead to better appearance, positive outlook on life and enhanced self-esteem. I believe good health and well-being would not be possible to achieve without attention to proper nutrition, good sleep habits, stress management and healthy environment – both emotional and physical. The challenge is finding the right balance between all of the above components. I hope to be your guide on the path to finding it.

I believe that a fit body creates a healthier, happier life. And that's what we're all looking for, isn't it? Humans were designed to move! Everyday living can make it tough to start and stick with a workout plan. The good news is, being fit doesn't mean 4 hours in the gym per day. It's about creating a few good habits that improve your fitness and health and are fun and manageable for you. The compound results will amaze you! I am an expert in helping people adopt new habits and changing their life for the better.

I believe in healthy living, healthy being. I view fitness as being mental, physical and spiritual training. Be patient, have fun, but mix it up a little.

There is no ‘one right answer’ when it comes to fitness, even though infomercials and many so-called experts would have us believe otherwise. The training regimen for a sports-specific athlete will be far different from the training regimen for the person who wants to overcome back pain or climb stairs without depending on the hand railing. Therefore, designing and implementing a fitness program begins with fact-finding, communication, and identifying unique and practical goals. As a Pilates specialist, I concentrate on proper form and safety, and believe in building core strength and mobility. I’m also a dedicated fan of High Intensity Interval Training (HiiT). I believe increasing intensity is the best and most efficient way to achieve progress. But again, HiiT for you will not be the same as HiiT for another person. What works for you is the primary focus. I continually seek variety to ward off boredom while also using proven exercises and methods to create the most efficient and effective workouts possible.

My core training philosophy can be summed up with one word: efficiency! The science of sports medicine is constantly evolving. I love staying on top of this research in order to put the best information to use for my clients and for my personal fitness program. As a trainer I like to prescribe workouts that are concentrated and quick, allowing for great results without having to spend a great amount of time in the gym!
