My training philosophy is achieving overall fitness which includes your mind, body, and what you put into your body to help these two things. I believe in functional ability or making your daily activities and hobbies easier and more fun.

Core and functional training are the most important elements of fitness. Just as a house needs a strong foundation to stand, your body needs a strong core to function optimally. My workouts will ensure your body's foundation is built strong. I understand life is busy. Most movements will incorporate the entire body, allowing not only for you to maximize the time you invest in exercise, but also to train your body in the ways we use it each and every day. Every exercise is carefully chosen to ensure it incorporates and improves your core stability and functionality. Finally, I believe high intensity and short duration circuits will help you burn fat and build muscle the quickest. These circuits will be tailored to your fitness level and ensure you get the most out of your workout.

When you train hard you see results, so I began to see the benefits of working hard all the time. Hard work, confidence, a positive attitude, and an open mind are aspects I expect my clients to bring with them every day. I train clients like a Coach. I help them through exercises when they need it but I also like to have my clients figure things out on their own. Either way, with hard work I will do the best I can to help my clients achieve their goals. "Physical toughness helps you compete with an opponent, but mental toughness will ensure you beat your opponent."

My mantra is if you don't move it, you lose it. My goal is to get you moving and stay moving, so you can live life to the fullest.

Debra Williams

Location: Philadelphia, PA United States

My training philosophy is "when the student is ready the teacher will appear." In other words, my philosophy and style are based on the belief that clients who are READY to make a lifestyle change and choose health and fitness as a priority have a better chance of success in attaining their fitness goals. The "teacher" is the personal trainer." You can't start an exercise program for someone else. Well, you can but in the end, I believe that if it's not what YOU want to do for yourself, you may have a hard time staying committed to the work needed to reach your goal.

My training philosophy is based on the concept of flow. It is a dance between improving skill levels while increasing challenges. We have all had moments in the zone. How do we experience them more often? How do we access them on a deeper level? How do we share them with those we care about? Performance, and often life, become more powerful, interesting and engaging when the connected bars of learned ability and larger goals are raised. This is the mystery I enjoy exploring with my clients, teams, colleagues and training partners. Join me.

I believe your body works as a whole complete unit and need to be trained as such. I like to focus on the big productive exercises that involve the whole body, not cutting it up and training different pieces of the body. It’s not the most fun but it is the most productive.
